Lilly Martin has returned to Cleary to close the sale of her cabin. But when her car skids and strikes a stranger, Ben Tierney, as he emerges from the woods, they've no choice but to wait out a brutal blizzard in the cabin. Enjoyed the story. I had the killer pegged from the beginning. Love scenes weren't too hot.

Good who-dun-it. Sandra Brown really make the sexy scenes work.

This was a great book. I didn't want to get out of the car and found myself sitting in my drive-way just to hear a few more minutes. I would definately recommend this book.

Slow and boring. The worst part was that you never had to guess what was going to happen, if you did- the outcome was underwhelming. If you want laid back and a no thinker-this is it.

The story was thrilling and for the first time in a long time the clues did not give away the villain. The way the narrator changed his voice with every character was amazing. I look forward to hearing more from this author and narrator!

So good, though I expected nothing less from Sandra Brown. Stephen Lang is my favorite narrator!

Very nice listen except the Narrator held back 5 stars. Plots were interesting and alot of twists. I was though happy not to hear no more from the Narrator. I feel i might sound mean, but when you are listening to the book it really counts

Really got into this book, not for kids, there are some adult situations that fit perfect to the story line. One of those keep you guessing all the way to the end! A definite buy for anyone who enjoys mystery fiction with a chill factor.

This is Sandra Browns first book I read so I cant compare her other books. I will say that I am excited to read her other books due to this one. I really enjoyed this book. It had a ton of excitement and parts where I didn't want to stop listening. I only gave it 4 stars due to the ending wasn't what I liked.

I liked this book. There were times when I was listening to it that I wanted to hit the fast forward and just skip to the chase. Overall it was good, but I lost interest in it at times.

There is a little debate going in the reviews here about whether this is thriller or romance novel. Well I say it is both! And very good at each. I wasn't crazy about the narrator, and that is all that kept this one from being a 5. Good characters in a GREAT plot, with a myriad of wonderful details. REALLY good stuff.

I love Sandra Brown and thought this a very good example of her work. An interesting murder mystery with a love story intertwined. I liked that she created a lot of possibilities to be the serial killer. I truly didn't know who it was until the moment it was revealed, and I usually know at the beginning! The narrator was also very entertaining.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me guessing until the last few chapters who the really killer was. I found it quite stimulating with just enough sex to spice it up without being vulgar. Good character development, and kept me intrigued all the way through. I have read several of Sandra Brown's books and always enjoy the way she keeps the pages turning. Also the narrater of this book is great.

I enjoyed this book. It had suspense, romance and complex character development. This was not Sandra Brown's normally simple/predictable romance style of book.

This is not a mystery or a thriller, but a romance novel. Guys beware!! This is the biggest pile of garbage I have ever listened to, well at least part way listened to.

Another excellent book by Sandra Brown. From page one I could tell this was going to be a exciting. I have not finished yet, but I have gone back and forth on "WHO DUN IT". GREAT WRITING

I listened to this along with my sister and we thought it was great suspense. And it was great fun keeping each other guessing at the mystery.

Really good book. It was easy to relate to the characters. I have scheduled more of her books to listen to. If this one is an example of her work, I have many more hours of enjoyment to look forward to.

This was very good. Kept me guessing until the very end. I didn't care for the sappiness of the ending - it was too predictable and I don't think it helped the story - but some folks may like it. Other than that, I would recommend it.

Scary - not the weak plot, or the non-descript characters - but the fact this book was published!! It took me almost 2 months to finish the audio-book - I almost mailed it back after listening to the first CD and cancelling the order. But I thought the book would get better as the story line continued... Not even close - a total waste of time!!

I've listened to quite a few audio books, and this has to be one of my favorites. The narrator does a wonderful job - he speaks clearly, with emotion. The plot is extremely suspenseful, the romance between characters is portrayed beautifully without being sappy, and adds to the tension. I could not stop listening.

This was my first book by the author and I was not disappointed. If you’re looking for a good mystery, suspense, thriller this is the one to get. The author does a great job of developing the many characters in this book without going in to too much detail. Just enough to make each one interesting and essential to the overall story. There are many sub-plots in this book which the author seamlessly blended in to the main plot. It all adds up to a story that keeps you in suspense until nearly the end. The narrator also does an excellent job. With a slow southern drawl he manages to bring to life the many male and female voices that make up this large cast without getting annoying or monotonous. I really felt like he enjoyed telling this story as much as I enjoyed hearing it be told. Get this book!!

This was a long one. This is the type of audiobook that needs multiple voice actors just so that you can keep the story straight, although i have to give kudos to the narrator who did a great job with the myriad different voices. There are so many plots and subplots...needless to say there is a lot going on in this one. It is interesting...a bit twisted, but it draws you in none the less. A good listen. A healthy dose of suspense and mystery with just a sprinkle of romance. A good mix of stress, mystery, anger, lust, rage and danger. Almost everyone introduced to us in this small town has a reason to do it...but only one actually did. As the story unravels you thank your lucky stars for the big city...you won't look at small town life the same again.

Chill Factor was awesome. My favorite so far has been white Hot, but Sandra Brown just keeps getting better and better. It's a book that you just can't stop listening to. You have to hear the outcome before you can rest and she always leaves you just biting your nails to figure out who the culprit is . It was really good. Amazing intrigue, suspense, just the right amount of romance-and her romance is always so erotic. Lovely. Glad we have such a great author that can put it all in one novel for us, so we don't have to buy 3-4 books to get what we want. She gives it all,,,,

Chill Factor was a good story, grabbed interest in beginning but got a little long in the middle. Characters were good, I changed my mind a couple of times as to who the murderer was and what the movtive might have been. Worth taking the time for.
