Five women are missing from the sleepy mountain town of Cleary, North Carolina, and a blue ribbon has been left near where each woman was last seen. Lilly Martin has returned to Cleary to close the sale of her cabin. Slow and boring. The worst part was that you never had to guess what was going to happen, if you did- the outcome was underwhelming. If you want laid back and a no thinker-this is it.

The story was thrilling and for the first time in a long time the clues did not give away the villain. The way the narrator changed his voice with every character was amazing. I look forward to hearing more from this author and narrator!

Very nice listen except the Narrator held back 5 stars. Plots were interesting and alot of twists. I was though happy not to hear no more from the Narrator. I feel i might sound mean, but when you are listening to the book it really counts

This is not a mystery or a thriller, but a romance novel. Guys beware!! This is the biggest pile of garbage I have ever listened to, well at least part way listened to.

I've listened to quite a few audio books, and this has to be one of my favorites. The narrator does a wonderful job - he speaks clearly, with emotion. The plot is extremely suspenseful, the romance between characters is portrayed beautifully without being sappy, and adds to the tension. I could not stop listening.

This was my first book by the author and I was not disappointed. If you’re looking for a good mystery, suspense, thriller this is the one to get. The author does a great job of developing the many characters in this book without going in to too much detail. Just enough to make each one interesting and essential to the overall story. There are many sub-plots in this book which the author seamlessly blended in to the main plot. It all adds up to a story that keeps you in suspense until nearly the end. The narrator also does an excellent job. With a slow southern drawl he manages to bring to life the many male and female voices that make up this large cast without getting annoying or monotonous. I really felt like he enjoyed telling this story as much as I enjoyed hearing it be told. Get this book!!

This was an excellent story and the narrator was excellent, as well. I am sure I will listen to it again in the future.
