Absolutely fantastic! The story + the narration made the characters come alive, we felt like we were watching a movie and wondered why this book has not been turned into a movie yet. We listened to it during our travels to visit family over the holidays and were glued to the audio speaker 'til the end!

Very good book to read. It was really interesting and it never got boring.

This novel is intense and makes you think. I love Nancy Farmer's take on a possible future.

Excellent narrator! One of my favorite books as a child, and still loved it just as much.

This story really spoke to my heart, and my fears. I've read it a long time ago now but it's stayed in my mind over a decade. The way it really makes you think of the ethics around science/parenting and the horror of someone choosing to go the way they did floored me so hard. It's so absolutely unforgettable
