4.5 rounded down okay. everyone who says these books are too long... correct. that's literally my only complaint. 2000 year old being completely and utterly obsessed with her, an early "who did this to you," daddy issues, and some cameos from my faves? yeah its gonna be the best book in the trilogy. its weirder and freakier than the other ones which is fine by me but not why it's better. it's better because there is so much to everly's journey and the development of her magic. there is so much in callum's grief. together... phew. such world building such character development such fun!!!!the audiobooks for the whole series are phenomenal. i thought this one was great especially. she gets really into everly's character and he has a great audiobook voice — not too overly deep nor does he try to overexaggerate his character shifts. chefs kiss.very nice to end off my winter break reading!!!
