Amazing til the last minute

I appreciated the reading from both narrators -really good! The story is good and based on a true story which is so captivating. I agree with a previous review to be cautious in choosing this book since there is a lot of abuse. I skipped through parts. It's also a story of survival which kept me listening.

Excellent professional reading. This book would be a horrible read for anyone with PTSD from abusive relationships. Barring that, it is an interesting book that keeps your attention and cheering for the good guys. Keep this in mind when deciding to select this book.

The beginning was a struggle, I had to continuously listen to the beginning until I got a few chapters in. It was an excellent book!

The writing & narration were both wonderful! The story itself was captivating and had me immersive in anxiety & dread and rooting for Millie & Raina!

Better than I expected. It kept me interested throughout, which is all you can actually want from a story. Worth reading, IMO.
