In their twenties, Charlotte and Sam anticipated a bright future together. Just out of university, they had big plans. But fast-forward a decade, and things haven't gone as they intended. They've both put on weight, their income is paltry, and their relationship is fizzling out.
Unlike Sam, though, Charlotte isn't giving up on what she wants. So she signs up for Zumba classes in anticipation of her best friend's wedding and starts writing again. For inspiration, she attends a book signing for one of her favorite romance authors... who, to Charlotte's shock, turns out to be a man. A nice-looking man. A man who asks her out...
