Unabridged Audiobook
Soberingly hopeful.
Sarah Kendzior has a rare combination of intelligence, honesty and profound compassion. Her love for the landscape and people of America shines through the heart-breaking political darkness of our time. Her Wisdom of reminding us to not "other" each other and to hold on to our empathy, and therefore our souls is priceless. As a grandma. I really appreciate her clarity and honesty as she navigates Motherhood in these trying times. I love that she narrated it herself, in her voice. I think "The Last American road trip" may be the most important book I read in 2025, and have a feeling it may be one of the most important books I have read in my life. I highly recommend "The Last American roadtrip" for sanity's sake during an insane time
The author is an unhappy, bitter woman. She doesn’t describe the America I know.
