Unabridged Audiobook
Love the book, historical references helped frame the reality of the internment camp in Colorado during WWII.
I've been reading a lot about WWII and this was an interesting adjunct to the non-fiction histories of the Japanese conflict. Based loosely on an actual internship camp in Colorado, the story examines all the attitudes of the time toward the Japanese Americans interned there.
I was leaning between a three and a four here. I settled on four, because it is simply better than a 3. It isn't "middle" it is better. One thing that makes it so is narration, which is excellent. But from characters to story, from plot to message, it really is a good read. I'd have loved to go 3.5, because it was a little long, but beyond that this is a winner.
