Ticks the holiday-read boxes, mostly! Lovely narrator, likeable secondary characters. The mains are, as often in these books, the sort of people you want to pick up by their shoulders and shake, but there was enough to keep this story interesting and the prose isn't terrible. The ending is a bit under-edited compared to the rest. But it did its job as a fluffy holiday story, so I'd read more from Heidi Swain!
