Unabridged Audiobook
I enjoy listening to audiobooks because they add another dimension to armchair travel as you listen to the authentic sound of the narration true to the country we are inhabiting. This aspect enhances the story for me. I was extremely disappointed in the choice of narrator for this book because she had a strong, brash, southern American accent which I didn’t think suited the telling of a story of sea women on a Korean island. I found the mismatch extremely irritating. In my opinion she would be better placed to read stories such as Grapes of Wrath or Gone With the Wind. No problem there.
