Unabridged Audiobook
My heart felt for him, the things they and others had to go through
It took a bit to become engaged in the incredible story of Hans Neumann. However, the author thoroughly succeeds in joining together bits and pieces of her father's tortured ordeal as a Czech Jew during WWII. It is another example of finding that as many stories of survival of The Holocaust we have heard or read or seen, there is always another story that needs to be heard. I, for one, am grateful that the author felt strongly enough to spend so many years in assembling her father's story. She put it together somewhat as a clockmaker might reassemble and fix a keepsake watch. May Hans Neumann and his family rest in peace, and may their memory be a blessing to his descendants.
