Over all an interesting story but dragged a lot. Could have told the same story in half the time.
Long, drawn out and uninteresting until the last hour of listening. The characters were unlikeable, and the story felt extremely vague for how drawn out it was. I’m a huge fan of Ruth Ware, but this definitely wasn’t even close to her typical novel. As always, Imogen Church is one of the best narrators you’ll hear!
Really enjoyed this book. This narrator is the best! I search out books read by this narrator.
OMG, such a good listen..... Characters are realistic and easy to relate to lots of twist and turns an ending you want see coming.
meh not her best
The mysteryitself was just ok.. the premise of the story, the lying game, seemed weak to me. Slow going all the way through until the very end. I didn't feel connected to any of the characters because there wasn't enough background content. Eh..couldn't wait for it to end.
Second half was really good but first half was slow and dragged on. Way too much description and thoughts of characters rather than action or conversation. Narrator is very good and makes the story come alive.
Fun listen and great narration, but the story is just not very compelling. Predictable ending.
The narrator is great. The story is too repetitive.
The narrator was great. The plot and character development was very well explained.. I was a little disappointed at the end. I love this author but wasn't my favorite story from her.. definitely worth a listen
Could she talk about breast feeding her baby any more? And it has nothing to do with the plot of the book. It starts off as just getting to know teenage girls. Not a huge fan of this one. It got better towards the end so I had to finish it. The narrator however was amazing
