Unabridged Audiobook
At once exhaustive and exhausting.
Great American story. A must read for all Americans confused about what freedom and the pursuit of happiness is. A republican I might add
Frederick Douglass may have been the best orator in the United States....ever. Certainly the most effective in the 19th century. In the 20th century I can think of only a couple, and I’ll take Douglass when you consider where he came from and how he learned his craft. Wish he was around today. Tremendous book, loved the narrator’s voice. It was worth the effort.
