boring. really boring but I understand that very little is known about the Four Runners or the pre Cursors or how the flood or how the halo rings came to be. I shouldn't have expected there to be a lot of action so its on me. Hopefully the next of these books have a little more excitement. Writing was good. voice action really good. just needed some more violences

This is the Halo lore book I've always wanted. The first serious glimpse into the forerunners. I have to admit, it's bitter sweet because it provides so much details yet also puts to rest some imaginative ideas. One of my favorite books in the series so far. Highly recommended.

A great novel in the halo lore
