Unabridged Audiobook
I was surprised to see this final part of the trilogy released so soon. I wasted no time and dove right in to finally reach the conclusion of the Lancaster Falls series. Just like the first two books, the same characters continue to populate the story line while a new character, Agent Lucas Beaumont, steps in to what can only be described as a situation that goes from bad to far, far worse. Throughout the twists and turns that careen to a mind-blowing conclusion, the story of Lucas and Josh was not lost. From the first meeting to the highly satisfying end, these two characters and all of those introduced in the two previous books formed a cast that I found interesting and surprising. There is no doubt that this book could not be fully enjoyed without listening to the first two. There are some amazing surprises woven in for established characters as well as Lucas and Josh. The narrator (Sean Crisden) was able to bring voice to all of the characters in such a way that I was easily able to pick out who it was, even when they were first referenced in previous books. The final hour of this book was thrilling and terrifying at the same time. Wonderful series. I will definitely listen to it again.
