Summary
It's not every day that a beautiful naked woman falls out of the sky and lands face-first on grizzly shifter Berg Dunn's hotel balcony. Definitely they don't usually hop up and demand his best gun. Berg gives the lady a grizzly-sized t-shirt and his cell phone, too, just on style points. And then she's gone, taking his XXXL heart with her. By the time he figures out she's a honey badger shifter, it's too late.

Honey badgers are survivors. Brutal, vicious, ill-tempered survivors. Or maybe Charlie Taylor-MacKilligan is just pissed that her useless father is trying to get them all killed again, and won't even tell her how. Protecting her little sisters has always been her job, and she's not about to let some pesky giant grizzly protection specialist with a network of every shifter in Manhattan get in her way. Wait. He's trying to help? Why would he want to do that? He's cute enough that she just might let him tag along—that is, if he can keep up . . .

Contains mature themes.

So. This story is quite compelling and the characters are fun and strong especially women I like the spin on the shifter trope and all that jazz. But the omniscient narration and the large number of characters with similar names make it quite confusing. For instance the main heroine in this book is called Charlie and her grandpa who took the girls in is also called Charlie. Then you have the instances in which the narrator does not systematically refers to certain characters in the same way, some time using the first name sometime only the family name it is a bit of a mess so make sure you have a good memory for names and recalling a lot of characters otherwise this book will just not make that much sense.

This was different then I expected but I enjoyed it. The sisters are psycho and I’m not sure how I would like them as the main female lead for the following books but I’ll try since I liked this book. There was a lot going on in this book. My only negative is that there was so many different story lines going on and tons of characters that it got hard to follow.

I had so much fun listening to this story it was certainly a great listen, it was full of action, and laughs, not much romance though.

Loved the sisters and their unique personalities! This book had several plots running simultaneously and at times were hard to keep track of, but very entertaining! I can’t wait to read the next sister’s story.
