Unabridged Audiobook
While I certainly learned more about James and Dolly Madison, I thought this book would be more about Dolly than all the politics going on at the time. I lost interest after the beginning of the book.
The beginning of this book drew me in right away. However, as the story progressed, I found myself less and less interested. Having just listened to John Adams, I was pleased that this book was more than a tedious rereading of letters written to, from and about the main character. I certainly learned more than I knew before about the early years of our country.
