Nixon comes off as just another college guy that has no worries. But that’s so not the case. He has so much going on that he keeps from everyone because he doesn’t want anyone to pity him. Yasmin has her own secret. It’s where she spends Tuesday nights. Some think she has a secret boyfriend and Nixon judges her when he thinks he’s found out her secret. He judges her very harshly. They both have heavy things going on in their lives but they are drawn to one another. I really liked them together. Nixon and Yasmin are great together. I love that Yasmin cares so much and she’s there for him when she figures out his secret. This is a must read or listen to the audio.

A Kiss to Forget is the second book in the Blairwood University series. -College Football/Sports Romance -Polar opposites -Interconnected Standalone -MF -Hurt/Comfort -Angst -Coach's Daughter -Frenemies to Lovers -Emotional -Found Family -HEA Please be advised that there's CW of Terminal Illness, Death, Grief, Mourning, and Süiçide Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Very, very emotional read. Yasmin and Nixon were everything! From love, romance, angst, to completely polar opposites. I loved the chicana/latina representation and it was pretty well done. As a chicana, myself, I approve! The beginning was a bit slow, but eventually picked up and it was just so good. Although it wasn't heavy on the spice, it was story driven and it was such a palette cleanser. Definitely willing to check out more of this series! Narration: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 When I say Troy Duran was narrating this, I was so excited. He is one of my favorites. Raquel Beattie did a fantastic job with Yasmin's accent. There was a brief moment (in the beginning) where she didn’t have an accent and it kind of threw me off a bit. But overall, it was an enjoyable story to listen to.
