Unabridged Audiobook
Loved!
This was a sequel no one needed. Lo blacklock has learned nothing since her time in Cabin 10 and it creates a frustrating, predictable plot line that was hard to get through. The narrator was also terrible anytime she has to speak as a character other than Lo. Her imitation of Lo’s sons and husband were cringeworthy enough, I had to fast forward through parts.
Another fantastic book by Ruth Ware. While I enjoy all of her books, this book felt like it was getting back to the classic mystery novels I love so much.
I loved the story line but the book was too long and drawn out.
Great as per Ruth Ware. And also, very Ruth Ware. Narrator great, and also very much Ruth Ware. Love it and all. Just very, should I say…not much change. But benefit of the doubt, still a great read.
The main character is unbelievably stupid. The book is repetitive with her complaining about her own dumb choices. The book is not realistic in the way that no one would be so stupid to fall for the mess she found herself in
She never disappoints
Great book!
I love Ruth Ware’s books and this one was no exception. It was nice to revisit old characters. Imogen Church is always wonderful and I love her interpretation of the characters. The only thing I would say is her reading of the whiny toddler at the beginning was cringeworthy. I literally grimaced. But I can forgive it as she always delivers a great read. Ruth Ware did it again and I’m already excited for her next book.
This book was just ok. I am a big fan of Ruth Ware, but this one did not have a particularly interesting storyline. It was too long and drawn out.
