For anyone that was shattered in November, I see you. This book made me long for what we could have had. Kamala, thank you for your decency, your conviction, and most of all, your joy.

"107 Days" by Kamala Harris is an insightful and informative read that offers a unique perspective on the tumultuous landscape of American politics during a critical election cycle. Harris provides a candid look into her experiences as a candidate, vividly illustrating the challenges she faced, particularly with the late exit of Joe Biden out of the race. This delay not only shifted the dynamics of the campaign but also underscored the hurdles women often encounter in politics, where they are frequently judged more harshly than their male counterparts. Harris's narrative is both personal and political, revealing the resilience required to navigate a system that often seems stacked against women in positions of power. Her reflections on the biases and double standards that women face resonate deeply, shedding light on the broader implications for female leadership in our society. This book is not just a memoir; it's a powerful call to action for gender equality and a reminder of the importance of diverse voices in leadership roles. Overall, "107 Days" is a compelling account that combines the intricacies of electoral politics with the personal journey of a trailblazer, making it a must-read for anyone interested in understanding the complexities of contemporary political life. Harris's ability to articulate her experiences with honesty and clarity makes this book an essential addition to the conversation about women in leadership.

Was intriguing to hear VP Harris' take on her journey during the election. She's very good at narration. Especially hearing her perspective on President Biden and his decisions and actions was informative and should help us all hold our leaders accountable for decisions that benefit the country and not individual aspirations for their place in history. There is a sense in some sections of the book that she's putting the majority of the "blame" of her loss on the time yet then she does own her own missteps that it seems that every single candidate for office we've seen make-whether they are successful or not. Most would agree she did not have a fatal flaw. Her pride on the overall race is apparent and I'd agree warranted while being balanced with grief for the consequences we will live with as a country for years in giving power to Republicans who are now pawns to Christian Nationalist oligarchs. Harris probably will not get another swing at the office even though there's a slight tone that she'd like it. Having lost to Trump may be a burden she cannot overcome yet she will be remembered for this unprecedented effort in this "107 Days". Def worth a listen/read.

A brilliant, honest memoir and the autopsy we all deserve of what went wrong on the Democratic side in 2024. Thank you Kamala for your superhuman efforts to navigate an impossible circumstance. If you could use 10 hours of respite and inspiration, buy the book.

Great detail of what really happened from Kamala’s viewpoint. I’ve read the other ones, and this helped fill in the gaps. Such a smart and thoughtful and educated person. We really missed out.

Excellent. I love her down to earth honesty, her intelligence, integrity and joy. Madam President

I relived her thrilling campaign and the agony of the loss. This book is riveting because Kamala narrated it herself. She is alternately eloquent, funny, vulnerable and painfully honest. I am proud to have voted for her and hopeful there will be a place for her in public life after the fall of MAGA.

I enjoyed every minute of it and was in tears at the end. It heartbreaking to think of what is happening now and what could’ve have been if Kamala Harris was elected as our President. I voted for her and have always admired her, but I have a whole new appreciation now for what a wonderful woman, public servant and leader she is. I hope she has big plans for the future because we need her leadership, compassion and policies now more than ever. I highly recommend the book. It is enlightening and compelling and a must-read.

Loved the point she wanted to make but I think she held back just to stay professional. But I understood her POV. I changed the speed of the reading so it didn't sound as slow. Overall great read/listen!!!

Profile Avatar Matthew A. Mar 2026

I hope she runs in the next election. Insightful for anyone who needs convincing she should have won

This book was well written. It was hard at times to learn about some of the behind the scenes things that happened during her short and intense campaign experience. I appreciate the author for being willing to share her first hand account of what she went through during that time. The author narrates the book which I also appreciated.

Profile Avatar Leslie N. Jan 2026

As often happens with author-narrated books, the pace was too slow. I had to speed it up to 1.25X to make it sound normal. As far as the book itself, it caused a lot of feelings both for what could have been and the obvious unforced errors that happened. Of course with a full length campaign those errors could have been overcome but as is every error was astronomical. And I REALLY hope the issues with the Biden people were misinterpreted and just bad feelings after the fact. If her perception is real, I'm furious at how her own people let her down. Well, more than they already did by keeping her out of the way and intentionally unseen. If he was really only intending one term, as he said, then he should have been building her up since day one.

Wonderful Story from a Wonder of a Woman

Profile Avatar Anonymous Nov 2025

I loved reading the day by day but there were some areas that just felt redundant or not needed.

Profile Avatar Anonymous Oct 2025

Kamala has a vivid imagination when it comes to recreating history. This book only exists for damage control and she lied her way through it. Shes must live in a bubble if she truly believes what she said.

Profile Avatar Anonymous Sep 2025

Book of lame excuses for the worst political failure of our time.
