Stanley is awesome. Great read/listen.
Mr. Tucci is too pompous and haughty. It was difficult to swallow (pun intended.)
Not what I thought it would be. I would like to remove it from my library.
First of all, It will make you want to cook and eat and drink! If you were born in Stanley's era, it will bring back so many memories of your childhood. Stanley life is not only interesting but he really sounds like one terrific guy, who has come through some very difficult times in his life. I loved listening to stories about his Italian family. Although I am not Italian, most of my Italian friend's families sound very similar. I think from growing up like with them, I may sound like an Italian mom myself! Great story, great TV series, never wanted either to end. Now I am off to cook one of his these delicious recipes and cocktails! Ciao!
