Great book
Very informative and entertaining at the same time. The author has done a great deal of research and draws from her own life and family history to enlighten the reader on a country that is small but significant. The information was a bit overwhelming but well presented and though I remain confused I learned a great deal.
Very good read for anyone who wants to start learning about Israel's history and current situation! I learned so much and was never bored :)

Outstanding factual statement of the challenges of peace between Arabs and Israel. And, a great historical understanding of the region variously called Israel, Levant, the Promised Land, and Palestine.
The writer did an excellent job describing Israel as is based on true facts.
