Unabridged Audiobook
Beautiful memoir. The author turns an oppressive abusive home life into a poetic story of love, forgiveness, and moving forward. At times agonizingly slow but always rich in vivid detail.
This memoir was beautifully written but, sad and invigorating all at the same time. The author/narrator did a beautiful job of telling her story of being a black-caribbean female born and raised in Jamaica by the Rastafarian way of life.
I learned much about Rasta culture and was drawn by the author. Very well written.
A story of heart, redemption, courage and love. Incredible human journey through unbelievable odds.
Simply captivating!
