From the day we met, Fire Carlson and I have been in chaos. His constant jokes and witty remarks drive me crazy, and he knows it. We argue and fight, but there are two things I can't deny: our undeniable attraction and how he excels as a father. One heated interaction changes our lives, and suddenly, Fire needs my help. We have to prove that his boys are safe and loved, or risk Fire losing them forever.
I've never taken Fire seriously until I had to live in his house, pretend to be his woman, and try not to fall in love with him. It doesn't help that he's trying to prove we are meant to be together.
