It started with him being the bane of my existence. The uptight, infuriatingly handsome lawyer with a permanent scowl and a glare sharp enough to slice glass. He storms over every time my mail ends up in his box—or whenever he feels like reminding me that photography isn't a 'real' job. Keats knows exactly how to get under my skin, and honestly? Half the time, I want to strangle him. The other half…I'm trying not to imagine what he looks like shirtless.
The tension between us? It's electric. And one night, it snaps.
What starts as a moment of weakness turns into something more dangerous: a no-strings-attached, enemies-with-benefits situation. Totally unintentional. Totally addictive.
But the more time we spend together, the more cracks I see in Keats's carefully constructed armor. The way he shows up when things go wrong at my house. His playing the hero card does something to me. Apparently, he's not the man I thought he was—and I'm not sure I want to return to hating him.
