Unabridged Audiobook
A realistic point of view from the slice of time it was written in.
It's a brilliantly descriptive account of travel in the old west. It's written in the language of the time. Unfortunately this includes casual racism and disdain for some of the lesser polished people who settled there. The narrator left no doubt she could have easily filled in for the long dead author. Her voice is smooth with a posh British accent.
