I was completely caught off guard with this book, not just because of the story, but because I had never heard of this author. Now that I’ve read this book all I want is to read more of her books. I hope some of her other books will be translated into English because her characters, details, and the plot are all brilliantly written.

This was a free credit but I enjoyed it. This is definitely worth a listen if you enjoy a Nordic mystery.

Surprisingly good! Engaging characters and story

Very well crafted story line. Believable and scary in the current environment regarding immigrants. Good narration, pleasant to listen to. I will definitely be looking for more books by Fredensborg - if I could find English translations. Almost anything out of Scandinavia or about crime in Scandinavia seems to me to be highly readable.

I missed the point of this one I’m afraid! What an irritating reader. Every woman’s voice wined her way through the story.
