The Acorn Game

If you ask a crow who invented the Acorn Game, he'll tell you it was crows. Ask a raven, and you'll hear a very different story.

Young Zeni doesn't care who invented it. He simply loves the game.

From his favorite perch on the Bench Branch of the Great Oak, Zeni has spent years watching every dive, every save, every spectacular crash, and every triumphant cry of 'HOOOOOOOLE!' He knows every rule, every player, and every strategy by heart. There's just one problem.

He's never been picked to play.

While secretly practicing for the day his chance might finally come, Zeni struggles with a stubborn wing that always seems to betray him at the worst possible moment. But when an unexpected injury leaves his team without its star center diver, the little raven who has always watched from the sidelines is suddenly called upon to face Krara, the finest Acorn Game player in the valley, in the championship for the coveted Pegasus Cup.

Filled with memorable woodland characters, gentle humor, and exciting aerial competition, The Acorn Game is a heartwarming middle-grade adventure about friendship, perseverance, teamwork, and discovering that our greatest strengths sometimes come from the very things we once believed were weaknesses.

Perfect for families to enjoy together, The Acorn Game reminds listeners of every age that success doesn't come from trying to be someone else—it comes from finding the courage to be yourself.

Because every bird has his own dive.
