A few weeks before Watson's marriage, Holmes receives an envelope with a nobleman's seal on it. It belongs to Lord St. Simon, whose wife has disappeared. A woman named Flora Miller, has been arrested for murder, as she reportedly tried to interrupt the wedding. Sherlock Holmes, however, already has the mystery solved.
