It's time for the first annual fourth-grade basketball game at Sycamore Elementary, with Tony taking on the role of team captain. And as luck would have it, Mia gets to be on his starting lineup, with River as their mascot. While they may not be the most conventional team, they're determined to try! But their first practice is hardly a slam dunk...

Things get even trickier when they practice with an old hoop in a neighborhood alley and their ball goes flying into the backyard of the man who lives next door, forcing the crew to face the mysterious man rumored to be rather unpleasant. But once they get to know him, they learn that first impressions aren't always what they seem.

Find out how the crew helps an older man make peace with his past while he helps them take on game day!
