Unabridged Audiobook
Although it gets repetitive at times, you can’t help but get sucked in by the story. You will yell along with the characters when they do something stupid or crazy. Lovely book to escape the world for a while.
Loved it!!
This book is captivating and i love the characters, but I'm a bit over the love making scenes. It'gets boring after a while from fight to makeup, fight to makeup... it's a good book but I think less sex scenes would make the book more interesting. Tessa and Harden are a very sexy couple but I mean do we have to go into every detail of their love making?? It starts to get boring after a while...
This series saddens me. I’m not a prude and I try to be open minded, but seriously! What are young women to think when they read this? The first book was actually intriguing, pulling the reader to puzzle what the ending will bring. Although the ‘bad boy’ fantasy many of the female race, including me, have pondered, this is beyond pitiful behavior. The sex scenes were interesting but the ridiculous pattern of both of the character’s unhealthy addiction to each other became redundant. He would do something vile, she would be a little tiffed, they would fight, they would have incredible sex, rinse repeat, and repeat. I do think however that both narrators did an incredible job. I’m disappointed that this will be made into a movie. I won’t be reading anymore of this series.
love this series so much!!
Books are always better than the movies but it’s nice picturing the movie actors as characters in book! This is an beautiful love story
I love this story better than the first. I love hearing Hardin’s side of the story!!!
Love this book!!
I think that he is abusive, and I’m growing tired of listening to him abuse her I absolutely love the narration!!!
great read!!
Couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen!
Pretty entertaining overall and narration is great !
After and After we collided are both great . You must read them in order. Can't wait for the next to see what happens.
Agree with everyone else’s comments about the fight makeup cycle getting old, but still an engaging story with spicy scenes. I will say I LOLd at the make narrator’s “Tessa” voice *cringe*. Also, He’s a great actor, but I felt like his voice was too deep and mature for Hardin. Could be because the female narrator’s “Hardin” was so good and younger sounding.
Its hard not to get sucked into Tessa's and Hardin's drama. Both parties treat the other with disrespect and I would not set Hardin up on a date with any of the young women I know. Having said that they are both self aware of the flaws they have and do better as the series goes along. I have read the entire series (I couldn't help it, I needed to know what happens! haha) and I recommend seeing it through. You will not be disappointed with the growth this couple goes through. I don't like the excessive use of "crazy" "insane" and other various descriptions for mental illness. The sex scenes get a little tired and drinking is a bit glorified in the story. But if you want to laugh, cry, get angry, be disgusted, fall in and out of love with Hardin and forget your own problems for a while then go for it!
Another book where Tessa is so naive. I hope my daughter is never this stupid.
The narration for the male was not very good .
A love story that a lot of people can relate too... I am too invested now not to listen to book 3!!
This book just sucks you in. You feel what the characters are feeling Happiness, sadness, love. In the end you just want to to continue this series and if you like this type of story you won’t regret it.
There are some minor storyline inconsistencies and some of the storylines are a bit repetitive- fight, make up, fight, make up. But the book is overall very good and hard to stop listening to because I want to know what happens next. Both of the narrators voices are amazing!
I love this book
It's a beautiful book I love it. Just wish the movie was out already.
