Experience Anna Todd’s million-copy-selling story that started it all.

Tessa goes off to college with a dependable boyfriend waiting at home and her life and career neatly planned out. On her first day on campus, everything shifts when she encounters Hardin. With his disheveled brown locks, cocky British charm, and a canvas of tattoos, he’s a stark departure from her familiar world.

But Hardin’s rudeness borders on cruelty, and Tessa resolves to hate him. At least until they share a charged moment alone—and suddenly, Tessa is questioning everything she’s ever known about herself.

Despite his hot-and-cold attitude, Tessa is drawn to uncover the hidden layers within Hardin. In the midst of her newfound independence and electrifying uncertainty, Tessa’s connection with Hardin feels like the passionate love she’s been looking for. With her carefully laid plans forever disrupted, what comes after?

This book is an amazing book! When I frist read it I could not put it down to go to sleep it was that good. It keep me engaged from the start. The only reason why I could not give it 5 stars was that it does have some intense experience in it. In order to not spoil the I book I would say that if you are easily offended by people treated other wrongly then this book is not for you. But it does have GREAT story line and Anna Todd does a great job keeping me on the edge of my seat, I did not see the ending coming at all!

Terrible. You try to portray Tess as cute and innocent from the start but she cheats on her boyfriends, is Whiny, pathetic and honestly the most annoying character. She is honestly insufferable and not relatable at all. I’m about six hours in and yet to see any character development or accountability for her actions. Also if I knew it was going to be a book about ‘punks’ I would not have bought it. Narrators voice doesn’t match the character I am reading about I think it only makes her more annoying. Only reason I am still listening is to see if she gets LESS insufferable.

This was a simple and cute read. I honestly didn't enjoy the narration. I'm sure she was reading how the book was... However everything was "it is" "we are" etc. I sounded like a recording.

An abusive, unhealthy relationship where I was rooting for this stupid girl to dump him each time he emotionally abuses her. On the other hand, it kept me engaged. The narrators whiny voice lent nothing to the pretty much stupid story. Half the time I was rolling my eyes, I wasn’t sure if I was rolling my eyes at the narrator or the story. Todd is exceptionally simplistic and redundant in her vocabulary.

This series is addicting. The narrator does a great job differentiating between characters. Put this on your list, this is a must read.

This book and I have a love hate relationship. I didn’t love it but I couldn’t put it down! It was addicting and I had to find out what happened next. The relationship is downright unhealthy. Hardin acts like a jerk, asks Tessa for another chance, Tessa agrees, they make up for the day and the cycle repeats. However, the end threw me for a loop. I’m so glad I held out to the end!
