A decent collection if you like Updike's work. It's nice to hear him read his own work, although the stories are somewhat dull and similar. I can't imagine this book interesting anybody but true Updike completists, as I am. Definitely skip it if you have no special affinity for the author or his work. If you want to jump in to Updike, start with Rabbit.

The title of this book is wholly misleading. Is nothing to do with the after life!
