Unabridged Audiobook
It touches one’s Soul how a human if you could call them that could do what they do!
This is one of the worst books I have ever listened to. I could not finish it because it was so terrible. And I don’t mean gruesome, sad- I mean that it is completely unbelievable, riddled with victim mentality. I am not taking this lightly when I leave this review- I know how victim advocates would have a hey day with my review and claim how awful I am, but if you listen to the story, from the beginning it is non stop, ladled with victim mentality from anyone and everyone. The author claims every mental health illness from anxiety to bipolar, OCD, self-harm, and goes on and on in her story telling how she knew something wasn’t right but continued to do the very things she knew she shouldn’t. There is literally no insight into how she made herself a victim even when there was no reason to. How everything that happened in her life was done to her, without consent and she had no control. Without giving away her story, it would be easy to read my review and think I am unkind and not understanding but if you listen to the first 15 minutes of the book, you would easily see what I am talking about. On top of that, the narrator is awful. EVERYTHING she says is in a sing-song DRAMATIC voice. Do not waste your time or money on this book.
Really good
