Unabridged Audiobook
Awesome story. Very entertaining and touches right on line with Norse mythology
This book was definitely written for a male audience. Even so, the modernized, militarized mythological concepts were almost creative enough to make up for the blatant and offensive plot usage of race, sexual orientation, and gender. All of that aside, the heroics of the main character and his capabilities were extremely forced and his “special” attribute was that he had an uncontrollable temper that would have stereotypically fit into Norse society. The narrator continuously mispronounced terms that made listening very confusing at times. Unless readers are explicitly looking for a military novelty and not much else, this isn’t the book for you.
