The Barkley family-Steve, Emily, Nim, and Bastian-meet Bruno, a German Shepherd who has a wild tale to tell about rescuing people from a burning building. Unfortunately, he was separated from his human during the fire, and now he's looking for him. The family and the shepherd combine their wits and talents to look for the missing human.

They also search for the person who set the fire so he can be brought to justice. With lots of laughs because of 'Dad' jokes and plenty of homeschool humor from Mom and the kids, this adventure is great for the whole family.
