Another free vip selection that introduced me to an author I would have never discovered and a novel I really enjoyed. I will read more of this talented authors works. All three narrators did a wonderful job.

This was a good mystery with some interesting revelations. My lack of a full rating has more to do with the structure: as the chapters are only the character and date they are repetitive, making it difficult to find your place.

I didnt think I would like it at first. then it really got going. the twists and turns kept me on my toes. even til the end you think you have it figured out, then poof. it takes a turn. I also very much enjoyed the main characters. The narrator did an excellent job at the different voices. I very much enjoyed this one. Definitly recommended

better than I thought. unpredictable. I could feel the suspense towords the revealing which I don't usually feel. i am new to audiobooks in general and this book made me want to listen to so many more. The narrators were so good.

Good beach read

Great Who Dun It. Twisty. Dod not guess the ending. Not a huge list of characters so it was easy to keep track.

I did not enjoy this book. The writing was boring, full of cliches and banal hackneyed phrases. What made it worse was the narration. The person narrating Alex sounded like a robot, or like she was narrating a documentary. It was slow and toneless and made the bad writing even worse. (Or perhaps it was the writing that made it hard to narrate?) The characters were one dimensional and unlikeable. The premise- what lengths would mothers go to for their children- was a sound one, but writing and narration let it down.

Enjoyed the book and the storyline. The twists and turns were well thought out . I commend the author for choosing to shed light on a little known area of discrimination. The narrators were good. The ending was a bit too long for me.

This is the first Becca Day book I’ve chosen on Audiobooks and it was an excellent book! Very suspenseful and full of unexpected twists and turns kept me engaged throughout the entire book! Now, I’m deciding which one of her other books to listen to next.

Book was a slow burn, honestly was kind of boring at first. Didn't really get interesting until the middle or so.

I found the characters annoying and some of the ‘twists’ obvious. If it was a physical book I was reading, I would have skim read it to find out whodunnit. Overall, just ok for me.
