This story is a good beginning for Ms Bell’s new series titled Starlight Hills, CA, a place in the wine country and a town filled with nosy and opinionated townspeople . Ivy Lancaster and Dr Jeff Garner have a history as young lovers , then break-up mostly due to misunderstandings. That sent Ivy away and left both of them heartbroken. Now years later, they meet again when Ivy returns to town with the goal of getting the hospital where Jeff works, to use her services as a midwife. It was at times heartbreaking , frequently sweet and funny. Will these two overcome their hurts and trust their love ? The narrator , Kimberly Austin did a good job with the voices. Looking forward to hear what else the author has in store for us in the next audiobook.
