He shouldn’t fall for the woman he rescued since he’s leaving town in two weeks, but his heart is already gone.
Being in the right place at the right time isn’t what former paramedic Ozzy Rippen (33) planned on when he came to Creekside. Getting to know his half-sister should take precedence over babysitting the woman he rescued his first night in town, but he can’t resist his feelings. Falling in love with her is easy, but overcoming her trust issues will be harder than he’s counting on.
Single mom Athena Bauer (41) loves running her late aunt’s flower shop. It keeps her too busy to notice her nest is almost as empty as her bed. When a fall on black ice puts her out of commission and under the care of her rescuer, the walls around her heart begin to crumble. Trust isn’t easy to come by, but the man who’s caring for her makes her want to try.
