I made it through the second book in the series, mainly because I bought both of them on a two for one. What a waste of time! The storylines are marginal at best, very light on plot development, and for stories that are fairly heavy with military and combat and medical/science content, it feels like there was absolutely no research done by the author, just a bunch of made up gibberish. The narrator is talented, in terms of doing different voices, but everything is over-done almost in the style of a valley girl narrating a children’s book. It’s all over done, often for no reason or context driven purpose. I’m done with this series.
