I listened to this fabulous book while driving down the highway. I loved every minute. Also watched Anne With an E series. The two were great together. Fully enjoyed this great read. Or listen! ;)

A great story set on Prince Edward Island, Canada - so descriptive of the setting it’s on my travel bucket list :) My only problem is the extensive descriptions of Anne’s imaginations of EVERYTHING- to me a little goes a long way. The descriptions were beautifully described but I just couldn’t get into listening to ever one fully. That being said the story is very special and fun and heartwarming. It’s fun to listen to ways of life and thinking that are now considered quaint. The narrator was perfect and spot on! I never read this a a girl and am so glad I did as a 70 year old woman!

This is a wonderful story and movie, but the narration of this audio book is not authentic nor does it capture the personalities or feelings of the characters. I plan on listening to a different audio of the same book & hope for better results.

Loved it! My daughter is 11 and she loved it. It is such a moving book. She is so imaginative.
