Unabridged Audiobook
One of the most insightfull, perceptive books I've listened to in a very long time. If I could I would have school children doing this book for their literature classes in school.

So far I've loved all of Fredrick Backman's books but this one was disappointing. I found the dialogue style quite grating and nothing really got going until the second half of the book. I enjoyed the second half and I would have scored higher if he'd gotten there quicker. The narrator was awful and was not in keeping with the story.
This was a brilliant book, well read. The topic is off beat and completely different to what one would expect. The characters were well developed, some of the remarks quotable and the humour charming.
An ok read. The humorous writing was much more enjoyable than the many many parts that were meant to be heart felt moments, especially in the end. The book could have been a few chapters shorter and would have been better for it.

Amazing book with lots of jokes and deep thoughts!
This was a fantastic book. Brilliantly creative, and very well read by Marin Ireland. I started by hating most of the obnoxious cast of characters, but stuck with it, and it all just unravelled delightfully. Witty, clever, unexpected and heartwarming.
Nice story with some good plot turns and a talented narrator, but took a bit of patience to get into it.
Narrator was excellent, and the story is fine. It's kind of heart-warming, but not exactly. The writer should also avoid trying to be funny in dialogues, it became annoying at times.
Great book. I was totally captivated the whole way through.
