It's the end of the night. You're walking home on your own.

Then you hear the sound every woman dreads. Footsteps.Behind you. Coming fast.

You're sure it's him - the man from the bar who wouldn'tleave you alone.

You make a snap decision. You turn. You push. Your pursuertumbles down the steps. He lies motionless, face-down on the floor.

Now What?

Call 999
Wait for the police to arrive. For judgement, for justice, whatever that may be. You just hope you husband, family and friends, everyoneyou love, will stand by you.

Run
Stay silent. You didn't mean to do it. You were scared, youpanicked. And no one saw. No one will ever know. If you leave now. If you keepquiet. Forever.

I liked this book very much, it was not an easy book you had to be very focused while listening and with a good memory to follow the narrative but I liked the construction I found it interesting to see things from both perspectives, not an easy book though. I liked the creativitiy and the fact that in both planes of action the things unfolded smoothly and had continuity as though everything that happened was the next logical thing to happen but somehow at the same time you did not expect that to happen...and I really liked the end - we all are supposed to grow even though growing is sometimes painful. I liked very much the narrator's voice and her way of telling the sotry though at times I would have liked to be able to listen her louder (but that was a minor inconvenient as compared to the her nice voice).
