The Apostate's Wager: A gripping Science Fiction / Cyberpunk thriller of algorithmic oppression, corporate bounties, and a deadly chase through a rusted dystopian underworld.

In a city where debt is a death sentence, the most dangerous weapon is the truth.

Hecate Hawthorne is the Argent Guild’s deadliest enforcer. In the smog-choked, neon-lit tiers of the Null-State Covenant, her ledger is flawless, her Debt Score a glowing shield against the poverty that swallows millions. But when she accepts a lucrative, off-the-books bounty to retrieve a disgraced Master Architect named Elian Everlight, she walks into a trap of terrifying proportions. Elian isn't running from the law; he’s waiting to dismantle it. Before Hecate can deliver her prize, they are ambushed by a rival guild's kill squad, forcing the ultimate rule-follower to break every protocol and plunge into the forbidden, monster-infested ruins of the city’s industrial subterranean dungeons.

Hunted by her former masters and trapped with a fugitive who holds the blueprint to break the world, Hecate must decide whether to die a loyal asset, or live long enough to become the ultimate apostate.

Why you will love this: This Science Fiction / Cyberpunk masterpiece merges visceral action with a chilling exploration of algorithmic tyranny. Fans of gritty dystopian futures, high-stakes corporate espionage, futuristic thrillers, and anti-hero bounty hunters will be completely captivated by this immersive, high-octane adrenaline ride.
