Unabridged Audiobook
1st class reading, great listening.
more cookbook than murder mystery
This was a VIP selection and the old adage remains true...................... you get what you pay for! the story and the narration was pretty bad and about 40% of the listening time was made up of cookie recipes .
Shut it off after an hour. No idea where this was going. Not for me!
A fancied up cook/pastry book. Storyline was weak and the book overall did nothing for me. I think I will skip the series altogether.
Narration got on my last nerve. Story was ok.
The book is okay. One or two recipes would have been cute. But I feel like a forth of the book was recipes.
Listened to less than half. Didn’t enjoy the story and found the recitation of the recipes annoying and disruptive. Narrator was good.
Love the characters, especially the protagonist, Hannah, and her grumpy cat. Good recipes.
Narrator was very good. I found the story predictable and the recipes irritating. Wish I had known about the recipes before choosing this book.
A good clean story line. I love the recipes.
fun light reading. just what i needed
It was a fun book to follow along. Its family and friend dinamics were charming. And... I surprised myself not knowing the killer's identity. The recipes were useful. Not a recipe, but a request to "mix up concrete" was interesting (must have cement to accomplish that). An anology is flour to make a cake. But !! it may have been intentional as the protagonist admitted she was not a handyman.
Not bad
