I am surprised the author wasn't sued for copyright infringement. This felt like such an obvious rip off of enders game. If you have never read that book you will probably enjoy this ( although maybe go read Enders game instead ). It feels as though Cline may have been a one hit wonder sadly. Which is a shame as I love RP1

I loved this novel & ended up listerning to the whole book during a road trip. Absolutely love Ernest Cline's writing and pop culture knowledge. Loved Wil Wheaton's narration.

I listened to this on a friend's recommendation and was quickly hooked. A modernised version of The Last Star Fighter, with more coming of age storyline, fast paced action, secret government agencies, and all the pop/geek/gamer references you could ever want! Loved it!
