Great book! I've never had a book give me that many emotions and feel so conflicted on who I felt bad for. The characters are awesome and you can easily get a clear view of who they are and what they look like. It keeps you guessing and very, very involved in the lives. Once it was over I almost felt like it was part of my life and was still waiting for the next part.

This was a wonderfully written book. It completely had me invested emotionally with the characters. I even had to fight back tears, and even spoken aloud with angry words as going through the story. I really was impressed with the narrator. I more often than not avoid audiobooks that have a female narrator because I just can't stand when they narrate male roles and feel that they don't sound convincing voicing males. But this woman did a fantastic job of it. I really tried to keep an open mind to the lead character, Kathy, and empathize with her. But I found myself so furious with her and her selfishness that I wanted her to hurt so badly. At the same time I appreciated the honesty she had with her own self. I grieved for Ben and his unshakeable love for Kathy. Then there was Arsen, I had mixed feelings about him. I thought he was scum for being the other man and not respecting a marriage. BUT I have to admit that when you really want something and how temptation can almost be impossible to resist. All around great book, but if you choose to read/listen to this book be prepared to feel a whirlwind of emotions.

I've listened to hundreds of books and I have never been so emotionally wrecked by a book. OMG I cried and sobbed several times. I love a good love triangle book but the author is just so good that you feel the pain of all three parties deep down in your soul. she does such a good job of character development that you feel invested in each of them and hope for a happy ending even knowing that it won't be. In the end (I don't want to give away anything) I felt Arson did the right thing. He was such a spoiled guy who went after what He wanted and came across that He never grew up to accept responsibility until the very end. I will definitely read more books by Mia Asher because she is an excellent story teller that had me from the very start of the book and I stayed up practically all night as I had to see what would happen. The narrators were great too!
