The Breath Meditation: One of the simplest and most widespread of meditative methods, found in almost every ancient spiritual tradition
The Body Scan Meditation: A powerful way to become deeply relaxed by moving your mind throughout your body to soothe and ease your muscles.
The Walking Meditation: An ancient method particularly useful for people who find it difficult to sit still while meditating, or who have trouble maintaining concentration.
The Mindfulness Meditation: A technique to enrich perception and gain direct insight into the inner workings of your mind.

Stuart Wilde's enthusiam and layman's way of explaing meditation and trace state is refreshing and delightful. The actual meditations were not for me. The time lapse cycle of the beep would have actually brought or kept me at theta, if it had not been for the high pitch that brought me to the onset of a migraine. Even with the volume level at one and barely audible the pitch was just at a resonance that bugged me.

I became a HUGE fan of Stuart Wilde through listening to this CD set!! I think he is great! I did not rate this 5 out of 5, because the 2nd CD is weird "noises" intended to stimulate certain brain wave frequencies during meditation. I found them to be quite unnerving. But the information on the 1st CD is fantastic and very well-presented!
