The Art of Smuggling

How does Martelle do it…?! I mean this series keeps getting better and better!!! I also like the whole feel where it isn’t necessarily a straight linear progression but more like the older shows with each episode being a new case. But this is per a book. I used to consider those extremely boring. But Martelle created characters that drive this series who are interesting and entertaining! Then you have the cases that have depth and intrigue to them. And of course this is a sci-fi space opera with someone like Rivka who has a heart beating to the rhythm of justice. Who isn’t made to be held back by so much of the bull crap that our own system is so bogged down with… no, she has the power of a judge, jury and an executioner. And Rivka wasn’t given this kind of power without a VERY deep conviction…! This specific book was a lot of fun and also gave us more insight into the “one percent” of the Federation. We got to meet new alien species and a new little friend. I am so looking forward to the next book and the next adventure or “case,” that Rivka, her team and now crew will share with us! Our narrator did another amazing job and I enjoy the life she breaths into our favorite Magistrate and CO!
