Summary
A killer with a white picket fence.

Suburbia, a great place for a man with secrets to hide-while investing in some solid real estate. The biggest drawback?

Neighbors.

In this case, a neighbor with sexy curves and a bright smile. Good thing she's not his type. Single moms with annoying exes are on the do-not-date list.

Stay away.

Calvin wants to; it's just not happening. He can't help but find himself drawn to the chaos next door. And when danger threatens his suburban lifestyle, this assassin doesn't hesitate to act.

Killing people is easy. Domestication, on the other hand, terrifies him.

this book was entirely too long and slow. Considering it was only an 8 hour listen, that's not saying a lot. The focus was more on the fact that the neighbor was an assassin and less about building up the relationship between the two. I didn't feel any connection between Calvin and Lily, even their banter was dry. Then there are the common sense moments that were just too damn obvious and predictable. I found myself shaking my head during the entire book. I seriously considered not finishing this book. It was a complete waste of time. However I do agree with previous review that it needs to be a dual narration.

This book definitely needed dual narration. This is about a hit man, but honestly it's almost campy. He slick, he's smooth, he moves with grace... It's almost overdone. There was not significant character development. The heroine is kinda dumb, I expected more from an abused wife. She seemed to get over her abuse PDQ. I didn't LOVE either the H or h. Although I enjoyed this book, I won't continue the series.
