Auras of the Fallen Stars

August Monroe never wanted war—only to cross the river and train under a world-renowned chef.

Then a Sovereign’s unchecked rage cleaved the world in two and stole the only person who ever truly knew her.

She should’ve drowned in grief.

Instead, she sharpened her knives.

When her mentor rises at the head of a growing Resistance, August refuses to stand aside. But war offers no clean lines, and patience runs thin. Desperate for answers, she infiltrates the palace of a powerful Sovereign, stepping straight into the shadows of the magic that destroyed her world.

But something ancient stirs in her blood—something the Fallen Stars would kill to possess.

In a realm unraveling with secrets, magic, and betrayal, August will stop at nothing to find the people she loves—even if it takes everything she has, and even if everyone else gives up.

Betrayal. Found Family. Feminine Rage. And a girl who refuses to break.

This is August’s story—and she’ll walk through fire to make it her own.
